Hierro iron ore mine, located in Marcona, south of Peruvian capital Lima, is one of a few largest iron ore mines in South America. Covering an area of 670 square kilometers, Hierro produces 6 million ton iron ores every year.

Equipped with a hydraulic breaker, SY365C is mainly used to break iron ores at Hierro’s No.3 mining pit. These iron ores,containing crystals such as quartz in addition to 60 percent iron, are very hard. SY365C performed well during 10 hour operation in each workday and was accepted by directors of the constructor and Shougang Hierro due to its excellent performance.
